MAIN FEATURES :
• All main machine components are in cast iron:
monolithic bow, bow support with hinge pin,
centring ring, reducer box, vice base and vice
carriage
• Bow rotation for angled cuts from 0° to 60°
left with pre-set stops at 0° & 45°, graduated
line, mechanical stops and lever for
intermediate stops.
• Circular steel support plate with groove for
band. Base rotates in conjunction with bow so it
supports parts even during angled cuts and
avoids cutting into vice base.
• 2-speed three-phase motor
- transmission carried out by means of
screw-ring reducer in oil bath
• 1:49 ratio
• Bow inclination, blade development and
fly-wheel diameter have been calculated so as to
limit the yielding of band and increase its
lifespan.
• Mechanical tensioning of band with springs to
ensure uniformity and constancy of tightening
• 19mm band supported by two blade-guides with
hard metal plaques, adjustable in relation to
dimensions of parts to be cut.
• Electropump for lubrication/refrigeration of
bands
• Adjustable mechanical vice group, with lever
for rapid closing, hand wheel for slow closing
and lever for rapid clamp.
• Accident prevention safety devices: fly-wheel
guards with motor stop in case of opening .
