ORBITER 18 IMS
ORBITER 18 IMS has 5 controlled axis which
manage bending, end-forming of tube ends and
cutting in completely automatic cycle. The
machine takes tube from coil, straightens it,
carries out the working on one end of tube by
means of a multistation unit, bends with fixed
or variable radius and cuts material with a
rotating knife unit driven by brushless motors.
The ORBITER 18 IMS belongs to the class of
unmanned machines as it carries out the various
work steps with no operator assistance and by
means of a laser system can check correct
execution and discharge of finished component.
The rapid tooling change and immediate access to
simple adjustments offer, in a compact
structure, all the performance required for the
bending of tubes in light alloys up to a maximum
diameter of 18 mm.
