Our History

The origins of PEDRAZZOLI IBP SpA go back to the creative genius of Walter Pedrazzoli, entrepreneur in the metalworking field, founder of the homonymous company in Bassano del Grappa.

Born in the final years of the First World War in a family of workers, Walter Pedrazzoli soon shows a strong interest in mechanics and after attending a technical school, in which the basis of his future passion was formed, he starts work in the only local engineering company, producer of bicycles and in particular
of frames for Balilla motorbikes.

The years which followed the Second World War were characterised by a continuous growing request for machine tools created specifically to bend, shape and cut metallic material and especially tubes and profiles. In this exciting new atmosphere Walter Pedrazzoli and his brother Baldassarre started their productive activity and in a short time created their first workshop: it was so that in 1948 Industria Meccanica Brevetti Pedrazzoli (IBP) was born.
